As part of the 5-year review process, the AOTA Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics has undergone changes to reflect the dynamic nature of healthcare and to support emerging practice areas in occupational therapy. This presentation will review the AOTA Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics and current updates impacting the practice for practitioners. Completion of this course will meet IDFPR continuing education requirements for licensure renewal in Illinois.

• Identify the ethical principles that guide OT practice
• Apply the AOTA Code of Ethics to practice scenarios
